Brodie's Henry Hudson Shirt
The t-shirt that Brodie wears in Mallrats, at the beginning of the movie, is that of Henry Hudson Regional High School in New Jersey; or “Hudson” as the locals like to call it. Kevin Smith, the writer and director of Mallrats attended Hudson and probably wanted to add some hometown flair to the film (especially consider it is supposed to take place in that area).
Unfortunately the shirt is quite old and no longer in production, but since we like Kevin Smith and the Highlands, Atlantic Highlands and Middletown area he grew up in, we decided to add this shirt to the website.
